Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white and blue alum red color, depicted of many carp swims over water plants sea grass and auspicious ornament. The Carp Similar sounding to the word Business in Chinese, the carp symbolizes a wish for benefit or advantage in business, and accepted to represent longevity, wealth, abundance, and perseverance. The Under - base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years Jiajing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
