Item Details

Description

The first item is a brass lock, nicely embossed "AM, EX, CO." on the dust cover and on the rear panel. The shackle is stamped "Climax Newark, NJ". The dust cover spring is strong. This comes with an early hollow barrel key, not marked, that operates the lock. The second item is a an early brass lock, embossed "A. Ex. Co. P. D." on the back panel. This lock has pierced holes in the body for securing the shackle with a lead seal. Lock shows pebbled finish. There is no maker's hallmark. The dust cover spring is not functioning. This lock is accompanied by a double-ring, tapered barrel key marked "AEXCOPD", that operates the lock. The lock shows heavy tarnish and the key shows nice patina. There is a 6" segment of old chain attached to the lock's bottom clevis. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 7" x 7".
