A rare 1853 printing of the 1850 7th Census of the United States of America. This census was important noting a significant increase in the countrys population – nearly a 36% increase over the previous ten years. Interestingly, this census noted more than 3 million slaves living in the United States at the time. This 1853 report noted the supplemental additions to the main census.
