In overall fine and stable condition. Retains an even, rich patina throughout, though likely having an early refinish. Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Craquelure and surface wear visible to the top. The hinge block is made of two joined boards, with some separation. There are screw holes to the sides of each support rail and to the side of the hinge block as if it had been screwed in place previously. Appears to retain the original casters. Few age cracks visible throughout. It is possible that the top board of the hinge block has a 1" replacement across the front edge where it holds the top in place. There are a number of areas of old cracks and losses along the base of the stem, just above the junction with the legs, that have been previously cracked and reglued, though this seems to be an early repair and does not cause concern for structural integrity of the table.
