A late 19th century New Haven No. 4 model floor standing Jeweler's Regulator. 8-day wright driven French movement with pinwheel escapement, sweep seconds, porcelain dial with Roman numerals and bi-metallic gridiron pendulum with Lyre. Three section American Victorian Renaissance Revival Black Walnut case with Burl panels and carved detail features an arched crest with carved fan and applied medallion with lower swag over a paneled frieze and long door with carved "ears" and a paneled base with molded plinth. Older refinishing with minor wear, chip in one iron movement bracket, pendulum pitting, running when cataloged. 126" high. ESTIMATE $4,000-6,000
