A pair of French 20 bore flintlock holster pistols A pair of French 20 bore flintlock holster pistols, Belgium import marks for 1813-1814, border engraved flat bevelled locks, each engraved with a Hare, rain proof pan and rollers, 11.75in sighted barrels. The walnut stocks profusely inlaid with silver wire scrollwork set with engraved silver and gold foliage and cornucopia, the cast and chased silver side plates, trigger guards and pommels engraved with vases of foliage and swags, birds and winged beasts, original ram-rods 47cm overall (2) IMPORTANT NOTE This lot contains elephant ivory material.
