A Turkish Miquelet lock carbine A Turkish Miquelet lock carbine, late 18th century, with 64cm sighted octagonal demascus rifled barrel decorated with silver scrolls at the breach and muzzle, the scroll engraved lock to a full stock overlaid around the tang with silver and dated 1223, decorated overall with brass dots and roundels. The butt inlaid with strips of stained and natural horn, ivory, bone and brass, button trigger and steel ram-rod 98cm overall IMPORTANT NOTE This lot contains elephant ivory material.
