Vintage Modern Space Cylindrical Tower Bar Attributed to Pace Collection Design
Attributed to Pace Collection Design this six foot tall rolling cylindrical tower bar/liquor cabinet make me think of the cryogenic chambers space travelers use to sleep in suspended animation.
Constructed of clear rolled plexiglas sheet capped on top and bottom by brushed steel laminate.
Fitted with Lucite bottle racks and storage holders for glassware and other cocktail mixing accoutrement and is illuminated.
In the center is a burl grain laminated surface with a demilune drop leaf shelf that flips up when preparing drinks and flips back down so the entire unit can be rolled up flush to the wall.
Illuminated by a single standard size Edison screw bulb in the ceiling.
Casters are fitted in the base for ease of rolling.
Great Pierre Cardin space age jet styling piece. Could also be used as a terrarium or jardiniere.
