Condition
The 'J.WHATMAN' watermark is visible in the upper-left corner. The sheet has been laid to backing card. Although coloured pigments are in good and bright condition, there is light foxing and time staining to the sheet which is heavier around the mounted edge of the work. There are some light spots of surface dirt. Down the centre-right of the work there is a faint surface scuff. Just above the central mountains in the landscape there is a faint horizontal surface scuff.
