Or, a View or Survey of the State of Religion in the Westerne parts of the World, title and gathering n1 detached, others working loose, [STC 21718], The Hague, [Printed for Michael Sparke], 1629 bound with Brerewood (Edward) Enquiries Touching the Diversity of Languages, and Religions, Through Chiefe Parts of the World, P2 with chip to foot affecting a few letters of text, [STC 3621; Sabin 7732], Printed by John Norton, for Joyce Norton, and Richard Whitaker, 1635, together 2 works in 1 vol., light browning and soiling, the odd short marginal tear or chipping, a few marginal notes in an early hand, ink notes and inscriptions to margins, bookplate to front pastedown, contemporary calf, rebacked, upper cover detached, rubbed and worn, small 4to.

⁂ Sandys (1561-1629) was one of the founders of the Virginia Company of London which established the settlement of Jamestown in 1606, the first permanent English settlement in America. The second touches on idolatory in America.
