Grouping of 3 Victorian scrapbooks, each measures approximately 11 1/2" x 14". 1) Twenty-six pages with trade cards, die-cuts, visiting cards, holiday greeting cards, Rewards of Merits - loose pages and wear and losses on page borders - most contents in very good condition; 2) Thirty-two pages including 4 pages of postal marks cut from envelopes in the 19th century - the first page pencil signed "H.A. Strong / Winsted Conn." - includes trade cards, religious premiums, Rewards of Merit, and holiday greetings - the many trade cards include 2 large chromolithograph advertising for "Orient Insurance / Hartford CT", 7 days of week cards advertising "Higgins Soap" each with a unique comical message (for the times), etc. - the book and contents in very good condition; 3) Eighteen pages with trade cards, flower advertisements, and die-cuts - the book in poor condition with loose pages and losses around the perimeter of pages, but most contents in good condition; plus 5 double sided small loose pages from another Victorian era scrap book, containing several trade cards and die-cuts - measures 7 3/4" x 10" - fair condition.
