Grouping of 4 brass lamps, 19th century. 1) Small lantern with original brass lamp behind hinged door - handles on reverse - small ding in top chimney vent, else very good condition - measures 8 1/2"H x 4 3/"W x 2 1/2"D; 2) Skating lantern - shade marked "Deitz Boy / New York USA" - very good condition; 3) A brass lantern with magnifying lens with original removable tin fluid lamp on interior - made for hanging from hook, or hand hand via handles on reverse, or attaching to bracket on base - very good condition - measures 3 3/4"W x 3 3/4"D; 4) A lamp with fluid burner marked C. Cowles & Co. - started in Hartford CT 1838 - the burner holder has been resoldered to base, else very good condition. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
