Two 19th century lanterns including: 1) Tin with attached glass 2 mold shade, wire bale handle, and tin burner that if removable from the base - very good condition - 13"H to top of brass chimney; 2) A glass oil lamp with cast iron cap having a tilting burner that exposes the wick and having a wire device for cutting off flame - measures 12 3/4"H to top of chimney - very good condition. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
