Description
A Chippendale mahogany child's chair having a pierced carved back, scrolled arms, and chamfered square legs, 18th century. Missing foot rest and dowel that would have been inserted in front of the seat through the arm supports of the chair (see photo of the original holes in arm supports and legs) - repair to back right post below seat, else good condition. Measures 29"H x 15 1/4"W x 12 1/4"D x 14 1/4" seat height. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
