Description

Robert Haussmann, Swiss furniture designer, 20th century . A pair of mid-century modern tufted leather chairs with shaped chrome frames, circa 1959 - label on reverse marked "Imported by Stendig Inc." - NY City (Charles W. Stendig, American, born 1924) - note that these Stendig chairs were designed by Robert Haussmann, Model RH-304, and manufactured by the Swiss maker "de Sede" which is still in business today - Stendig also imported furniture from other European companies including Finland by Asko company. Both chairs with crazing and some wear to the leather but overall good condition. Each measures 20 3/4"W x 24"D x 31"H x 17 1/2"H to lower section of curved seat.
