Japanese Meiji Shigaraki Ash Glaze Stoneware Jar.Covered in a natural ash glaze and peppered throughout with feldspar particles burst all over the earthy brown surface, with an upright neck and rolled rim. Size: 20'' x 14'' (51 x 36 cm). Provenance: Sylvia and Philip Chaplain Collection, New Hampshire.
