A fan painted with flowers to one side and a calligraphy to the other
Watercolor and ink on paper
The painting with inscriptions and four seals; the calligraphy with an inscription, a signature, and two seals. The guard with an inscription and a seal to one side and a seal to the other.
H: 12 1/8, W: 17 7/8 in.
H: 30.80, W: 45.40 cm.
Provenance: Collection of Mrs. Chen, Honolulu, Hawaii. Mrs. Chen's father was a collector in Hong Kong. Most of the items were acquired in Hong Kong prior to the1970s and moved to Honolulu in the 1990s before the Hong Kong handover.
Condition: Minor paint loss to the ribs.
