French Gesso Overmantel Mirror, late 19th c., with a shell and cornucopia crest over an arched frame with relief leaf and floral decoration, formerly gilt, now in white paint, H.- 48 in., W.- 30 1/2 in., D.- 2 in. Provenance: from the Estate of Dr. Peter Elwood Dorsett, New Orleans, Louisiana.
