After Sir Godfrey Kneller (1646-1723, German/British), "Portrait of Lady Anna Sarkville," early 19th c., oil on canvas, unsigned, with two red wax seals on stretcher en verso, an indistinctly signed "Kneller" on stretcher en verso, and a modern day inscription by the latest collector: "Lady Anne Sackville, wife of Sir Edward Lewis by Kneller. Collection of Louis St. Lewis, Chapel Hill, N.C.," presented in a gilt frame, H.- 13 1/4 in., W.- 11 1/2 in., Framed H.- 17 1/2 in., W.- 15 1/2 in. Provenance: From the Estate of artist, Louis St. Lewis, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
