3 Hand- Carved Chinese Ruyi Scepters. Ruyi is a Chinese curved decorative object that serves as either a ceremonial scepter in Chinese Buddhism or a talisman symbolizing power and good fortune in Chinese folklore. (1) Chinese red cinnabar lacquer ruyi scepter measures 16 1/2" length x 3 1/2" wide. (1) Hand-carved ruyi scepter with white jade measures 15" length x 2 1/4" wide. (1) Ruyi scepter with carved jade measures 7 1/2" length x 2" wide. Please refer to all pictures. Only two of the 3 Scepters come with wood base. Total combined weight: 3.5 lbs. in good condition.
