Field Camera with Böhmke Lens, c. 1888-90
Germany, high-quality field camera with rotating back, green linen bellows with brown leather corners and two unusual features: a focusing screw with rack and pinion for the slot-in frame under the camera and folding board on the front standard for the falling front movement, with rare German Aplanat brass lens by C. Böhmke & Co, Braunschweig no. 797, size "2", focal length approx. 8/19 cm, glass clean, sprung screen back and one double cassette. Lens and camera are in excellent condition.
