France, for 25 stereo slides and stereo cards of 9 x 18 cm, mirror clap mirror replaced, fully working condition, ht. 33 cm. Accompanying the viewer are 14 consecutively numbered stereo slides, presumably acquired from Levy & Fils in Paris in around 1900 (based upon the numbering scheme of Ferrier & Soulier). Of these, four are hand-colored: "Expédition Andrée, le 'Swenksund' dans les glaces" (no. 24932 from 1897 reproduced from a gelatin silver negative, whereas the others are from collodion negatives that are sensitive enough for snapshots) and three of the 1900 Paris World's Fair (no. 27010, 27074 and 27150) by Levy & Fils (one with crack in frosted glass); three showing Tsar Nicholas II’s visit to Paris to lay the foundation stone of the Alexander III bridge in 1896 (no. 21993, 21963 and 21979, one cracked); no. 17958 parade in Russia with balloon "La France" and view of St. Petersburg with the Nicholas Bridge (no. 5028) three of state funerals of the Presidents Félix Faure (nos. 23783 and 23784 from 1899) and M. Carnot (no. 18729 from 1894); London Jubilee Celebration (no. 23004); and Lyon Presidential Visit (no. 8721). Includes 11 themed Underwood stereo cards.

Vermutlich von einem Schweden in Paris 1900 bei Levy & Fils erworbener Betrachter, da die gewünschten 14 Dias auf denselben Hersteller der Dias hinweisen, dessen fortlaufende Nummern seit Gründung von Ferrier & Soulier eine zeitliche Datierung ermöglichen. Von diesen sind 4 koloriert: 1 x "Expédition Andrée, le 'Swenksund' dans les glaces" (Nr. 24932 von 1897, nur dieses ist von einem Gelatinesilbernegativ, alle anderen sind von Kollodiumnegativen, die für Augenblicksaufnahmen empfindlich genug sind) und 3 x Weltausstellung 1900 Paris (Nr. 27010, 27074 und 27150) von Levy & Fils (1 mit Riß in Mattglas). 3 x Besuch des Zaren zur Grundsteinlegung der Brücke Alexander III in Paris 1896 (Nr. 21993, 21963 und 21979, 1 mit Riß), Parade in Rußland mit Ballon "La France" (Nr. 17958) und Ansicht St. Petersburg mit der Nikolaus-Brücke (Nr. 5028) und 3 x Staatsbegräbnisse der Präsidenten Félix Faure (Nr. 23783 und 23784 von 1899) und M.
