The finest printing of Euclid in English, the present is a large and stately edition of Euclid's first six books, very attractively designed and elegantly printed. The first six books of Euclid were deemed the critical introductory portion of the Euclid's Elements of Geometry, and Euclid was frequently printed in this mode. This work has now become quite scarce in commerce.
Condition
Light marginal stain to first ten or so leaves, ink signature to half tile and a few old ink notations to errata leaf, very handsome overall.
