Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty YongZheng Ji Red Glazed Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, chrysanthemum rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Warm and uniform red glaze applied to the whole surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Red is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. It was originated in the Qing Dynasty. The red color of the packet symbolizes good luck, corresponding with fire, symbolizes good fortune and joy. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring line. Made in The Years YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
