The stones with pale green clouding, each carved in low relief with a snarling kylin exhaling a book on vapour issuing from its mouth, standing beneath a rocky crag rooted with a flowering peony tree, and looking up toward a phoenix perched in a pine tree, its mate in flight above, the reverse carved in lighter relief with a further phoenix standing on one leg on rockwork among trees growing from cliff tops, the sun appearing through clouds above.
