A George III carved giltwood open armchair
in the French taste
Circa 1775, with gadrooned frames, a cartouche shaped back and scrolled downswept arm supports, on cabriole legs each carved with a pair of addorsed C-scrolls, cabochon and stylised foliage, terminating in scroll feet, 66cm wide x 52cm deep x 90cm high, (25 1/2in wide x 20in deep x 35in high)
