A Spanish or Italian 18th century carved giltwood mirror or picture frame
The later plate within a berried stiff-leaf carved slip, encompassed by pierced scrolled acanthus, fruit, flowers and pomegranates, with two opposing 'amorini' and scallop shell angles, the apron with a central winged cherub mask and floral swag, the cresting comprising a pair of opposing seated 'amorini' flanking a scrolled cartouche surmounted by a dical coronet, re-gilt, 140cm high x 108cm wide.
