of canted rectangular form, the centre enamelled with an elaborate classical figural scene entitled 'Alarich in Athen' 'von den Griechen also Sieger gefieiert. 396 n. Chr Get' within a claret coloured border with gilt line and fruiting vine border, the sides in pink, the rear with underglaze blue factory mark and title in red, 33cm wide, 24cm deep, 3cm high
