Description
comprising a Diamond example, top of cap embossed "DIAMOND" and shoulder with patent dates, wire globe guard, fitted with a colorless glass globe embossed "DIAMOND PATD JAN 28 1868", and a Convex burner; and a Novelty hand example, burner thumbwheel marked "NOVELTY", colorless chimney/globe. Second half 19th century. 7 1/2" and 9 1/4" HOA.

Very good overall condition, Novelty cap with a separation and short splits, font with some denting and several scattered repairs to handle mechanism; remaining example possible with a possibly enlarged cap hole and some scattered light denting, globe guard with some minor repairs and detachments.
