New York: Harper & Brothers, 1901, 1903, 1905, 1907. The Harper's Library Edition, 24 of 25 volumes. Three quarters brown calf with brown cloth over boards, spine gilt lettered and decorated, top edge gilt. 8 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches; various paginations, illustrated. Light rubbing and wear to spines, edges, and corners, a few volumes with small losses to leather and chipped headbands, lacks the "Literary Essays" volume, sold as is.
An early and attractively bound set of the writings of Mark Twain, published during the author's lifetime.
