Cherry Inlaid Slant Lid Desk, probably Delaware Valley, 18th century, the desk extensively inlaid with checkered banding, demilunes, and a central diamond, with motifs repeated on the drawer fronts, with an interior of central prospect door flanked by tiger maple valanced compartments and drawers, and the case flanked by reeded lambrequin corners, ht. 40 3/4, wd. 42 3/4, dp. 16 1/2 in.

Condition: old surface, repairs to bracket feet. engraved brasses appear to be original.
