Louis XVI is the French neoclassical style and is characterised by its lightness and the importance of geometric structuring in its conception, as well as presenting the basic features of European neoclassicism. The structure of this table is based on simple geometric volumes, with a rectangular tabletop, raised on a perimeter frieze in the form of lacquered borders, and four carved stipe legs. The joinery dies are in relief and depict rosette motifs. These are prismatic pieces that are slightly above the general level of the frieze, standing out slightly. The veined marble top stands out to a great extent.
