"Floral composition with boats" and "Virgin and Child".
Seashells, wood and glass.
Damage and faults. One of the glass urns with breakage.
Measurements: 45 x 24 x 12 cm (flowers) and 41 x 16 x 16 x 16 cm (Virgin).
The lanterns are compositions made with seashells of different sizes, they are of the romantic taste and were made in the Elizabethan period, in the second half of the 19th century. They were most widespread in Spain on the Catalan Costa Brava. From primitive times, shells were used as decorative and symbolic ornaments.
