John James Audubon (American, 1785-1851). An antique 19th Century engraved bird wildlife plate. Titled "Solitary Flycatcher," plate 28, No. 6. Engraved, printed, and colored by R. Havell and Sons, London. Presented on a matting card. Paper having watermark J Whatman Turkey Mill 1827 to upper left.
Work Size: 19.5 x 12.25 in.
Dimensions: 38.5 X 25.75 X .10 in.
Condition: Good to fair overall condition with normal surface wear. Having losses and wear to edges and corners. Toning to paper. Estate fresh to the market.
