Potted unto a pumpkin shape jar, with correspondence lid finial bud, raised from round sides over a wide cavetto Inner flange circumscribed around the containers lip allows for a perfect fitment on the each rim. Warm and uniform yellow glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Yellow is an imperial color in Chinese Dynasty color symbolism, representing power, royalty, prosperity and the earth in traditional Chinese culture.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
