Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Blue and White Glazed Red Garlic Vase. The porcelain potted in garlic bottle vase, globular lower belly, cylindrical neck with shrink on the neck middle to enlarge onion head shape, short round mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against blue and red fine color, depicted of Fu lion chasing flaming pearl amidst flame vapor, scrolling ruyi and auspicious pattern. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
