Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong Famille Rose Lotus Porcelain Vase. The porcelain potted in shape vase, thick and tall, oval globular lower body, emerging mythical beast head on the straight cylindrical neck, flaring round mouth rim, raised on a short ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in turquoise base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of lotus blossom interspersed foliage, scrolling interlocking tendril and banded with arrays of tropical leaves patterns. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mar. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
