Nineteenth Century. Each pot-de-creme painted with a be-ribboned bouquet of summer flowers, the cover with matching sprigs, unmarked; the vases each painted around the sides with the initials "MA" in floral garlands (for Marie Antoinette), along with groups of four roses, all reserved on a oeil de poisson ground, each painted with a crown above "A" in iron-red. Heights 4.375 and 3.25 inches.
