19th/20th Century. Including an invite from the Mayor William Layfette Strong, of New York City, 1895-1897, for the formal transfer of Grant's Tomb To the Monument in Riverside Park, dated 27th, April 1897, various tickets from numerous organizations to the groundbreaking ceremony and the laying of the cornerstone for Grant’s Tomb, a menu for a reception to General Grant’s Warren Point Farm, December 11, 1880, an In Memorial, State of New York pamphlet for General Grant and what appear to be modern copies of a translation of a group of letters written by General Grant. (Cond: some documents mildly damaged)
