Description
A Rare Cloisonne 'Beast Face' Bell. Cast in imitation of bronzes of the late Spring and Autumn period (early 5th century BC), of lenticular form, decorated with archaistic motifs including large taotie masks at the bottom above the arched rim, the trapezoidal panel with eighteen bosses arranged in rows of three alternating with bands of angular scroll, the flat top with further taotie masks repeated at the central bulb of the columner shank. Chinese Qing Dynasty. Qianlong Four-Character Mark. Size:15.5cmx34cm
