Description
A French brass pedestal by Ferdinand Levillain (French, 1837-1905), top centering a roundel of "Pandore", depicting an image for the Greek myth of Pandora, cast signature "F. Levillain" and dated 1861, tripod base with masks, stretcher, paw feet, circa nineteenth century. 32" H x 16" Diameter. Note: Ferdinand Levillain (French, 1837-1905) studied under Jouffray, exhibited at the Salon and won a silver metal at the 1889 Exposition Universelle in Paris.
