Coca-Cola, "First Taste In Space" acrylic display, 1985, having a replica aluminum can similar to one sent on the Shuttle Challenger, July 29 - August 6, 1985, the curved display with an image of the space shuttle, on colorless angled base, together with a Discovery Magazine article, September, 1985. Note: At the height of the "Cola Wars", both Pepsi-Cola and Coca-Cola sent specially designed cans allowing their beverages to be dispensed in zero gravity on the same flight. These displays were created for executives, museums, science centers, and partner companies. Approx. overall, h. 8.75", w. 7.75", d. 5.75".

Can is dented and appears to contain the internal pouch with liquid, magazine page is torn in multiple places.
