Description

Pair of French bronze urn form electrified oil lamps in the Baroque taste, late 19th century, each having double putti handles, reserves depicting Diana the huntress with stag and Venus, floral swags, fluted socle plinth, and on red octagonal marble base, with drum shade, apparently unmarked. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Helen Spitler, Cumming, Georgia. Approx. of one, h. 25", w. 9", d. 7.25" (body of the lamp to socket).

Condition

Discoloration to shades, minor chips to one base, both tested as working.
