Large Tiffany studios bronze hanging chandelier.Circa 1920.------31/32 inches wide.---39 inches/40 inches from the decorative bottom to the canopy at the end of the chain--------------Marked: Tiffany Studios New York(see the photos on the left) along with a series of numbers.----------------------A longtime expert in the Tiffany department at Sothebys for over 20 years(who no longer works there) examined photos and stated that the chandelier was probably a one time Tiffany Studios manufacture, as opposed to a regular Tiffany Studios production line item.It was likely a commission for a dining room or hall, but genuine Tiffany, not a fake forgery or copy.

Wires frayed and cut, almost all the ball screws that previously held in the glass shades are missing, patina fairly consistent with age.It is the same brownish green patina you see on the desk lamps.
