Condition
**In overall very good condition. The piece is sturdy, stable and functional. It exhibits normal mars and shrinkage, most notably slight separations at the lines where boards were laminated together on the top of the base and the side panels.
The doors open and close freely. Locks are present; the key does not fit the locks. The hasps of the locks are currently thrown in the closed position, but since the other doors are not affixed/secured in place with their hook and eye, they can be opened and closed.
Holes in the back of the upper section (3) presumably for past use with electronics. There are no shelves for the upper section. The lower section has one shelf. There are diagonal braces added to the inside of each upper drawer. They do not appear essential. Presumably they were added when doors were left open for use with a television.
The piece is at our gallery in New Orleans and presently on exhibition.
