Condition
The brass gallery is misshapen and bent at a couple spots. There is a break in it with the loss of one of
the solid "diamonds" beneath the top rim.
The tooled leather top is in good condition. It exhibits some light surface scrapes, but retains color
throughout, no apparent rips or tears and the gilt is in very good condition.
The piece exhibits normal wear, a number of past veneer repairs and some blushing to the finish at the
top and apron. There is a veneer loss to the side of one drawer, about 1" by 3". There is another veneer
loss to the bottom banding on the apron, about 1/2" by 2". There is loose veneer at the base of one leg.
Three bronze mounts are missing from the feet.
