Good Chinese Mottled Yellow Jade Water Pot. Probably Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th Century. The yellow opaque jade with tones of ochre and russet with some black mottling; the vessel of flattened circular form with a ring of incised beads surrounding the opening, the sides with two well-articulated bats with open wings worked in high relief, possessing a rich surface patina.
