Description
Armad Durand (b1831-d1905), engraver of primarily Rembrandt etchings. When he died, the Dominique Vicent et Cie company bought the copper plates and began their own line of etching printings. This went on until 1985 and then the French firm sold the Durand copper plates to the American Fine Art Editions Company and they have continued this tradition of printing Durand's etachings. Overall etching dimensions 4" by 3.25"; frame dimensions 29.5" by 25.25".

All items are estate condition. They have been stored and taken care of. Some have ware from 100 years of sitting. Please use pictures as a guide for condition and call the gallery for a full condition report. All sales are final.
