The check comes with a brochure from the Bill Williams 34th Annual Capon Charity Dinner on October 23, 1973, a fillable reservation card for the purchase of tickets, and a copy of the typeset letter on MGM letterhead from Ed Bonja that was sent from Colonel Tom Parker's office along with the check. The letter states, "Dear Mr. Williams: Enclosed is the check for $250.00 that Colonel Parker promised you would receive. Kindly acknowledge receipt of this check when it arrives. This check is for the Bill Williams Capon Charity Dinner, October 23, 1973. With all best wishes. Sincerely, Ed Bonja / Colonel Parker's Office."
