"Le Chanson du Grand-Pere", lithograph from "Petites Scenes Familieres", initialed in margin at left with red brushed watercolor (as an artist's proof), R.M. 11, Ed. 20. in aluminum casement frame, matted under plexiglass. OS: 18" x 14", SS: 9" x 4 1/4", lightly edge toned.Accompanied by a letter and COA from Ernest L. Lowenstein of Ferdinand Roten Galleries, Baltimore, date October 15, 1973, explaining the rarity of this print. Explaining this was the first work illustrated by Bonnard with lithographs. Includes a xerox copy of the sheet music decorated with this image, having the same title.
